Born and raised in Upstate NY, Gritty Boys unofficially began in 2009 during a trip to the Adirondack Mountains. What started as an inside joke eventually evolved into the name of a small company specializing in design, apparel, and handmade goods.

With co-founders now residing on opposite sides of the country, our inspiration draws from the diverse landscapes of both the East and West Coast and the mountains, lakes, rivers, and oceans that make these places truly unique.

Being Gritty isn't determined by talent or luck. It is defined by the unwavering pursuit of one's goals. Being Gritty is about experiencing setbacks, picking oneself up, and persisting until success is achieved.

While we casually refer to ourselves as the 'boys', being Gritty is for everyone.
